Counselors of State Council Visited Newnagy to Study Nanogenerator Project

 

From February 7 to February 9, Counselors from the State Council, Min Tang, Yanhua Liu and Dingming Xu, visited Newnagy to study its Nanogenerator Project.  First Deputy Mayor Xuejun Chen, Deputy Mayor Haiying Wu and Newnagy’s CEO Charles Hsu met the counselors and held a panel discussion.  Top officials from Tangshan’s Science and Technology Bureau, Finance Bureau, Development and Reform Commission, Bureau of Industry and Information, Kaiping District, High-tech Zone, and Caofeidian District attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Director of Tangshan Science and Technology Bureau, Mr. Huichun Zhang, reported the progress of the nanogenerator project and described the vision to build Tangshan's "Nano Valley".  The counselors held in-depth discussion with Newnagy's leadership and the city officials on the nanogenerator project.  First Deputy Mayor Xuejun Chen placed emphasis on taking the counselors’ visit as encouragement to liberalize the minds, carry out policies, and adopt powerful measures to speed up the nanogenerator project and build Tangshan's "Nano Velley".
